COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—A Colorado Springs man has been arrested and jailed after allegedly cutting himself and his girlfriend with knives.
Officers responded to a residence on Dogwood Drive about 2 a.m. Wednesday on a report of a stabbing. Police say they found 20-year-old Zachary Moehring holding a knife in each hand.
Authorities say Moehring had been arguing with his girlfriend and two coworkers, and that he threatened one of the coworkers before cutting the girlfriend.
Moehring and the unidentified woman were treated and released from a local hospital. Moehring was then taken to the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center on suspicion of second-degree assault and felony menacing.
It wasn’t immediately clear if Moehring had an attorney.
