BOULDER — Alex Midyette posted an additional $750,000 bond just hours after he was convicted of criminally negligent child abuse resulting in the death of his infant son. He was released from Boulder County Jail on Tuesday night.
Judge Lael Montgomery doubled Midyette’s bail amount to $1.5 million on Tuesday after the verdict was read.
Midyette, 29, of Louisville, is facing up to 16 years in prison after his conviction in the death of his 11-week-old son, Jason.
