FORT COLLINS — Armed robbers are hitting homes in Fort Collins, looking for drugs and cash, police said.
The latest robbery this month happened in the 1100 block of City Park Avenue. On Feb. 3, two men forced their way into the home in search of cash. The victims in the case have been uncooperative and the suspects remain at large.
In two of the recent cases, robbers believed the victims to be on the “medical-marijuana list” and targeted them in search of pot, police said.
In other recent incidents, armed robbers were looking for methamphetamine.
Several similar armed robberies have taken place since November.
