LINCOLN, Neb.—Two-time defending champion Ewing will play for another state championship after beating Pleasanton 63-47 on Friday in the Class D2 semifinals at the girls state tournament.
Hayley Thramer scored 24 points, Abbey Schueth 19 and Thiffany Thramer 14 for Ewing.
Ashley Axmann had 17 points and Cortni Shoemaker 12 for Pleasanton.
The game was a rematch of last year’s final, which Ewing won 45-44. Now Ewing (23-3) plays Chambers (24-1) for this year’s title.
