COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—An autopsy is planned to determine what killed a man who went to work on the roof of a Colorado Springs pizza restaurant and was found dead several hours later.

Police say 49-year-old Douglas Velliquette was last seen alive on top of Borriello Brother’s Pizza at about 11 a.m. Monday. A restaurant employee went up to check on him at about 4 p.m. and found Velliquette’s body.

Velliquette was working as a contractor.

Police say there were no obvious signs of trauma, and foul play is not suspected.
