COLORADO SPRINGS — Live from New York it’s … not Dolly.
The Colorado Springs Chihuahua profiled in Monday’s Gazette is instead in a studio room watching “Late Show with David Letterman” with her singing partner, Pat Bursell.
Bursell called Tuesday afternoon to say Dolly didn’t make the cut for the show that airs tonight, but expects to be called back at some point.
The 5-pound soprano was discovered last October at Letterman’s “Stupid Pet Tricks” audition at Promenade Shops at Briargate at a fundraiser for Safe Place, a nonprofit that cares for pets when a terminally ill owner no longer can.
