Neil Young can’t seem to leave Colorado alone, and that’s just fine with us. The classic- rock legend returns April 27 with the Neville Brothers and Everest. Depeche Mode at Red Rocks? Um, we’re in. The thought of seeing the dark U.K. synth-pop act under the stars — in the world’s best music venue — sounds like heaven. Throw in melodic Swedes Peter Bjorn & John and we’re sold. Tickets for the Aug. 27 show are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($55-$89, )
Nine Inch Nails and Jane’s Addiction are easily one of the year’s hottest double bills since the groundbreaking (and mutually admiring) acts will be sharing a stage for the first time since the 1991 Lolapalooza tour. Remember, NIN’s Trent Reznor got his start opening for Jane’s and is now producing the band’s first new material in 17 years. The duo hits Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre on May 26 with Tom Morello and Boots Riley’s Street Sweeper. Ticket info has not been released, but check back here or at for updates.
Dane Cook had no trouble selling out two nights in a row at Madison Square Garden in 2006, but the economy was different then. Way different.
