Arapahoe High School graduate Jason Wren was remembered Thursday night in a memorial service in Lawrence, Kan.
Wren, 19, was found dead Sunday at the University of Kansas’ Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity house after a night of heavy drinking.
KU spokeswoman Jill Jess said numerous school officials were scheduled to attend, but she didn’t know whether any of them would speak.
Wren’s parents, Jay and Mary, and his oldest sister, Kathleen, arrived in Lawrence on Thursday.
Jay Wren planned to speak at the service.
A local public service for Jason Wren will take place at noon Monday at Cherry Hills Community Church, 3900 E. Grace Blvd. in Highlands Ranch.
His family will speak, and a video tribute will be presented.
