It’s easy but not eco-friendly to toss into the trash your old lipstick tubes, eye cream jars and shampoo bottles. Origins, the natural skin care brand, is offering an alternative in its Return to Origins Recycling Program. The program will accept all cosmetic empties regardless of brand. The company says it is committed to finding ways to recycle the packaging. Receptacles will be placed in Origins’ 14 Denver-area locations as well as some 400-plus Origins retail stores and Origins department store counters nationwide. The first 50 participants to drop off their cosmetic empties April 2 at the Cherry Creek North store will receive a free deluxe size of A Perfect World Intensely Hydrating Body Cream With White Tea. Origins will also be providing free skincare consultations and mini-facials to all attendees. 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Origins Cherry Creek North, 299 Milwaukee St.
