A federal court in Utah turned down a request by Christy Sports to rehear its case alleging the Deer Valley ski complex violated antitrust laws when it restricted the Lakewood-based company from offering ski rentals there and competing with a resort-run rental shop.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit four weeks ago ruled in favor of the ski resort. Christy continues to rent skis at Deer Valley pending the outcome of another lawsuit in Utah state court.
