DENVER—Airports in Denver, Centennial and Aspen will share $20 million from the federal stimulus package.
Colorado Democratic Sens. Mark Udall and Michael Bennet said Monday that Denver International Airport will get $7 million for runway rehabilitation and $5 million for apron improvements.
Centennial Airport will get $4 million for taxiway rehabilitation and Aspen-Pitkin County Airport will get $4 million for apron improvements.
The grants are being allocated through the Federal Aviation Administration’s Airport Improvement Program. The stimulus package includes a total of $1.1 billion for the program.
