Denver Public Schools sold $150 million worth of construction bonds Monday and Tuesday as the first part of a bond sale that will total $454 million for projects.
The construction will include addressing critical maintenance issues, building a new school campus in Green Valley Ranch, revamping North High School and reconfiguring schools into shared campuses.
About 200 projects are expected to begin this year.
The bonds sold at an average rate of 5.09 percent, according to a DPS spokesman. The next bond sale is likely to occur later this year.
