BOULDER — Attorneys argued Monday over whether a judge should allow women who say they were victimized by the man charged with killing University of Colorado student Susannah Chase in 1997 to testify at his murder trial.
Three women testified this month that they were either sexually assaulted or attacked by Diego Olmos Alcalde, who was arrested in January 2008 on suspicion of killing Chase after his DNA matched evidence from the Boulder crime scene.
Chase, 23, was beaten with a bat and left to die in an alley near her Spruce Street home Dec. 21, 1997.
