MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo.—The Colorado State Patrol says alcohol may be a factor in a motorcycle crash that killed a man near Manitou Springs.
Authorities say 36-year-old Craig Emmons of Colorado Springs was not wearing a helmet when he lost control of his motorcycle on U.S. 24 at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
The motorcycle collided with a guardrail, ejecting Emmons. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy is planned.
The crash remains under investigation.
