It’s not “Crazy” talk, it’s absolutely true: Seal will sing the national anthem at the Boston Red Sox’s season opener Monday against Tampa Bay at Fenway Park. Seal, a three-time Grammy winner whose best-known songs include “Crazy,” “Kiss from a Rose” and “Don’t Cry,” is in town that day as part of his North American tour in support of his album “Soul.” In a related sea-mammal note, there was no word from the Rockies if they planned to have the “Walrus,” a.k.a. Evergreen golfer Craig Stadler, sing at their season opener Friday against the Phillies. Goo goo g’joob. The Associated Press; AP file photo
