Southwest Airlines will begin nonstop service between New York’s LaGuardia Airport and Chicago-Midway and Baltimore-Washington on June 26.

The Dallas-based airline announced today that it also will offer direct or connecting flights to 45 cities, including Denver, Las Vegas, Seattle, San Diego and Fort Lauderdale.

The introductory fare on a one-way ticket from LaGuardia to Denver International Airport, with one stop in Baltimore or Chicago, will be as low as $99.

The cost is $49 for a one-way ticket from LaGuardia to Baltimore, and $89 one way from LaGuardia to Chicago.

For the low introductory fares, tickets must be purchased at least 14 days in advance. Prices do not include taxes and fees.

Currently, Southwest serves 65 cities, with about 3,500 daily flights.
