COLORADO SPRINGS — A man is in a Denver hospital being treated for a broken neck after being revived with CPR by Eagle County sheriff’s deputies.
The Eagle County Sheriff’s Office says Deputy Corey Bruce discovered the man at an apartment early Sunday, surrounded by friends who were trying to rouse him.
The man, whose name was not released, had fallen on his neck. He wasn’t breathing and had no pulse when deputies arrived.
Bruce and Deputy Scott Hendrickson performed CPR. Sheriff’s spokeswoman Shannon Cordingly said the man had a faint pulse and was breathing when transported to a hospital.
Cordingly says the man was being treated Sunday afternoon.
