AURORA, Colo.—Aurora police say a 57-year-old man is dead after he apparently was run over by his own vehicle.
Sgt. Chris Carleton says police received a report of a vehicle accident at about 8 p.m. Wednesday in the area of 22400 E. Plymouth Circle.
Officers arrived to find a man’s body under the front wheel of a sport utility vehicle.
Sgt. Chris Carleton says a preliminary investigation indicates the man may have gotten out of the vehicle without making sure it was in park. The SUV then rolled back and over the man, trapping him under the front wheel.
The victim’s name was withheld pending notification of family.
