Christina Brickley, marketing and communications director for the Cherry Creek North Business Improvement District, is leaving the district to open her own public-relations and marketing firm. The new firm, C5 Communications, will officially launch May 11.
“I’ve been here for six years, and when you work with 320 entrepreneurs, it inspires you to be an entrepreneur yourself,” she said. “This economy is bringing you a new breed of entrepreneur, so why not start a business that can meet their needs?”
C5 already has three clients and will be signing a lease for office space downtown in the coming days. Brickley plans to focus on the retail consumer area, alternative energy and health care.
As marketing and communications director for Cherry Creek, Brickley worked on advertising, Web/online, events, media and community relations, and tourism programs.
Julie Bender, president and chief executive of the district, said Brickley “has been a driving force behind” its marketing and communications. Elizabeth Aguilera, The Denver Post
