We will be advised of elimination baseball by midweek. The Colorado High School Activities Association will release district lineups for Classes 5A-3A on Wednesday, three groups of 32 teams that will open the postseason Saturday. At eight sites in each class, the trick will be to win two games to advance to double-elimination play. In 5A, two-time defending champion Rocky Mountain is looking good with the likes of Jake Stewart, right. Eaton is back to defend in 3A. As for 4A, 2008 champion Ralston Valley moved up to 5A, so the door is open. With Colorado’s usual inclement weather having made it an interesting final week, unusual balance should make it a tough seeding meeting. Denver Post photo
