ANCHORAGE, Alaska — An airman in Alaska accused of lacing his pregnant wife’s food with ulcer medication to force a miscarriage has been convicted by a military panel.
Airman 1st Class Scott Boie of Milton, Wis., was convicted Friday in a court-martial on a charge of attempting to kill an unborn child. He pleaded guilty to an assault charge and was found not guilty of intentionally killing the fetus.
Boie’s wife, Caylinn, testified he asked her to get an abortion last year.
