DENVER—One man is in custody after allegedly entering a Denver construction business with a weapon and hiding for several hours.
Denver Police Department spokesman Sonny Jackson says officers were called to the business at about 8:45 p.m. Monday after a man entered the warehouse-type building with a gun.
Jackson says power was temporarily cut off to the area and some homes were evacuated while SWAT officers searched for the man.
He was found and arrested shortly before 5 a.m. Tuesday.
The man’s name has not been released.
Police did not discuss a possible motive.
