Kevin R. Collins, chief executive and president of Denver-based Evergreen Energy Inc., will retire effective June 1, the company said Thursday. Also, chairman Robert J. Clark informed the board of his decision to step down, although he will remain on the board.
The board has named former Econergy International PLC chief executive Thom as H. Stoner Jr. as interim CEO. Rick Smith, former president of Fossil Power at Bechtel Power Corp., has been named chairman.
