AURORA, Colo.—Aurora police say a Colorado Springs man died after being thrown from his speeding motorcycle.
Police say 24-year-old Larry Glass slid off a road and struck a street light pole before being ejected from his motorcycle and crashing through someone’s privacy fence at an Aurora neighborhood Saturday night. Aurora police spokesman Lt. Chuck DeShazer says Glass was not wearing a helmet.
He died later at a local hospital.
DeShazer says police believe Glass was speeding and drinking, which contributed to the accident. He says a neighborhood resident told police Glass had been speeding up and down the street where the accident happened before the crash.
