ORLANDO, Fla.—Two Powerball tickets with Power Play, one of them sold in Grand Junction, Colo., matched the first five numbers drawn Saturday to win $1 million each.
Colorado Lottery spokeswoman Erika Gonzalez says the Grand Junction ticket was sold at a City Market grocery store at 2770 Highway 50 South. Gonzalez says the winner did not want to be identified.
A second $1 million ticket was sold in Indiana.
Saturday’s winning numbers were 6-7-31-40-and-56. The Powerball was 38 and the Power Play was 2.
Five other tickets without the Power Play option also matched five numbers to win $200,000 apiece. Those were sold in Connecticut, Florida, Minnesota, North Carolina and Tennessee.
The jackpot is expected to grow to an estimated $170 million for Wednesday.
