COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Two-time U.S. champions Rena Inoue and John Baldwin have switched coaches and are now training with former world silver medalists Jenni Meno and Todd Sand.
Inoue and Baldwin made the announcement on Monday. They had worked with Phillip Mills for the past two seasons.
Meno and Sand won three U.S. titles, and skated at the 1994 and ’98 Olympics. They were three-time world medalists, and their silver in 1998 is the best finish by an American pairs team since Tai Babilonia and Randy Gardner won in 1979.
Inoue and Baldwin have medaled at the last seven U.S. championships, winning in 2004 and 2006. They were seventh at the 2006 Olympics.
