THORNTON, Colo.—Police in the north Denver suburb of Thornton are seeking the public’s help to identify a man seen in a security camera photograph walking down the aisle of a drugstore he allegedly robbed.
Authorities say the man entered a Walgreens at East 88th Avenue and Washington just before 9 p.m. on March 27. Police say he went to the pharmacy and handed a note to a worker at the counter demanding the prescription painkiller Percocet and the contents of the safe.
He escaped with an undisclosed amount of drugs and cash.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the man’s arrest and conviction.
On Sunday, someone stole generic prescription drugs from a Colorado Springs Walgreens.
The same store was robbed again Wednesday.
