The Colorado Springs Sheriff’s Department announced today that 51-year-old Willie Allmon of Widefield was arrested in the death of his 8-month-old grandson, Isiah Wilson.
A coroner found the child died on Monday from blunt force trauma to the head, inconsistent with an accident, according to El Paso County authorities,
Allmon faces first-degree murder charges. He is free on a $25,000 bond.
