One of two suspects wanted in connection with a homicide that left a man dead in the streets May 17 surrendered to Aurora authorities Saturday.

Leland Peter Richardson, 33, turned himself over to authorities at the Arapahoe County Jail. He has been transferred to the Aurora Detention Center, where he is being held without bail on a first-degree-murder warrant, Aurora police said.

Harrel Gene Keeling Jr., 33, was arrested late Friday and was being held without bail on a first-degree-murder warrant at the Aurora Detention Center in connection with the homicide.

Both are suspects in the killing of Miguel Angel Chavez, 24, in the 1600 block of South Ouray Street.
