EAGLE, Colo.—Eagle County deputies have arrested a man accused of selling fake immigration and Social Security cards to an undercover detective for $150.
Authorities said Tuesday 30-year-old Eliuu (ay-LEE’-you) Franco-Olmos was arrested on suspicion of forgery, possession of forged documents and possession of a forgery device.
He’s also being held on an immigration detainer from federal authorities.
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Shannon Cordingly says deputies seized Franco-Olmos’ computer hardware and software, other fake IDs and fake temporary vehicle tags.
It wasn’t clear whether Franco-Olmos had a lawyer. Jail officials didn’t immediately return a call.
