DENVER—Denver police have arrested a man they believe was involved in the shooting death of a security guard outside a nightclub.

Denver police say 21-year-old David Cano-Rivera is being investigated for accessory to first-degree murder and that officers are looking for a second suspect in the case. Police say 20-year-old Heber Santiago Godoy is wanted for investigation of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder and first-degree assault.

Denver police say the shooting happened early Friday after people began fighting at the El Chaparral club. Police say a security guard who began to argue with two men was later shot by one of them.

The guard later died at a hospital.

Police say the suspects shot and wounded another security guard as they drove away.

The victims’ names have not been released.
