PUEBLO, Colo.—Heating and air conditioning manufacturer Trane Inc. says 195 jobs will be eliminated at its Pueblo plant by August.

Trane spokesman Art Scheski (SHESS’- key) said Thursday the positions are being eliminated because production is being moved to other plants.

Scheski says the Pueblo plant will have 435 workers when the job cuts are complete.

He says the company had announced in November that it would eliminate 270 jobs in Pueblo by the end of 2011, but that plan was never implemented.

Trane, based in Piscataway, N.J., is a subsidiary of Ingersoll-Rand Co. Ltd., based in Woodcliff Lake, N.J.
