Atkins seeing clearly now thanks to new contacts
Third baseman Garrett Atkins is feeling better and seeing better. He admitted Friday that he’s been wearing a new pair of contact lenses. Atkins has three hits in the past two games, emerging from his offensive coma. The Cardinals are seeking a third baseman, but like all suitors, are waiting to see if Atkins consistently regains his swing.
