DENVER—Colorado will get more than $376,000 from drug maker Sanofi-Aventis as part of a $95.5 million settlement over allegations the company charged Medicaid too much for nasal sprays.

The company agreed to the payment last month. Colorado Attorney General John Suthers announced the state’s share Tuesday.

The federal government charged that between 1995 and 2000, Aventis and its corporate predecessors didn’t offer Medicaid the best prices for the sprays Azmacort, Nasacort and Nasacort AQ.

Federal law requires the company to tell Medicaid the lowest price that it charges private companies for those products, and offer state Medicaid programs rebates based on those prices.
