If you like it heavy, loud and fast, are ready to deliver. And deliver they did, much to the delight of the sweaty and rabid crowd at Sunday evening. After 26 years of honing their skills in the thrash-metal trade, the Bay Area group had no trouble demonstrating their technical expertise and ability to push the boundaries of the genre.

Chuck Billy, a monolith of a front man, effortlessly roared through the likes of “Over the Wall” and “Into the Pit,” while the screaming guitars of Alex Skolnick and Eric Peterson tore up the eardrums of anyone in close range. If thrash is a religion, then Testament obviously “Practice What They Preach.”
