The Commerce City Police Department released a composite sketch Tuesday of a trucker wanted in a May 28 sex assault at a truck stop off U.S. 270.
The armed attack allegedly happened about 11 p.m. at the TravelCenters of America at 5101 Quebec St..
The man wielded a pistol and appeared to be left-handed, police said. He had a tattoo of two whiskey barrels with a cowgirl in between them on the left side of his chest, police said.
He is described as white, in his 40s with blond or light brown hair in a “military-style” haircut, police said.
The witness said he also had “chubby cheeks and a long face,” according to a statement from police.
He drove a white International tractor truck with a silver tanker trailer.
