Commerce City police released new details about the murder last week of a Dollar Value Plus shop owner, including the possibility that a cable-company employee might possibly be a witness.

Police are looking for a white commercial van, similar to one driven by Comcast workers, that was seen parked in front of the store on June 3 at about the time 39-year-old Dung Le was shot inside, according to a statement from police.

“Detectives are currently working with Comcast to determine if any drivers were in that area at the time and may have been a witness to this incident,” according to the statement.

Le was shot in the head inside the discount store at 5765 E. 63rd Place between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. on June 3.

Anyone with information is asked to call 303-227-8840. A $1,500 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
