DENVER—One woman is dead and police are looking for a suspect after a hit-and-run collision in Denver.
Police spokesman Sonny Jackson says the woman was walking across the street in the middle of the 2000 block of Sheridan at about 10 p.m. Tuesday when a vehicle struck her.
Two other pedestrians walking with the woman were not hurt.
Jackson says investigators are trying to obtain a description of the suspect vehicle from witnesses, but police have not released any details.
The woman’s name and age haven’t been released.
