I was the campus dean with Colorado Mountain College’s Rifle Campus from June 1993 to my retirement in September 2003. Greg MacCalister took a photo of me sitting on the bench, swapping stories with Twain, and it was on the fall 2003 semester bulletin. He told me that day, “Be good and you will be lonesome.”
