RAPID CITY, S.D.—Two of eight people charged with selling cocaine on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation stand trial starting Tuesday in federal court in Rapid City.
Lyle Wilson and Brandon Ecoffey pleaded not guilty to multiple counts, including conspiracy to distribute cocaine and marijuana.
Alvina White Bull pleaded guilty last week to conspiracy to distribute cocaine.
Five other people pleaded guilty and were sentenced to prison: Lawrence Vigil, Tyler Eagle Bull, Joe Brewer and brothers Dominique Saucedo and Daryl Saucedo.
All six signed a statement indicating they and others brought at least 11 pounds of cocaine from Denver suppliers for distribution throughout the Pine Ridge area between 2002 and 2008.
