Donald E. Harms, 45, of Parker was killed this afternoon when his motorcycle hit a car that turned into his path in Arapahoe County, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
Harms died at Littleton Hospital. He was not wearing a helmet when he collided with the passenger’s side of a white Chevy Malibu driven by Robert E. Spaulding, 75, of Plainview, Texas.
Harms was thrown from the Honda ST1100 motorcycle. The accident happened at South Chambers Road at East Otero Avenue at about 12:10 p.m.
Spaulding was not injured. He was cited for careless driving causing death, according to the state patrol.
