Is there any other way to describe than a goddess? Granted, it’s clichéd (and more than a little insulting) to praise attractive female musicians simply for their appearance, but there’s also a lot of cute dudes out there stinking up stages and airwaves with their craptastic songs. And anyway, frontwoman Emily Haines isn’t one of them. In fact, she’ the whole package: a talented, kinetic performer, stellar songwriter and charming person that just happens to get mentioned as much for her beauty as her musical gifts.
Robert Castro stopped by Metric’s hour and a half-long set at the on Thursday to catch Haines and her band tear through songs from their new album , among others. Check out his photo essay below.
