DALLAS — Southwest Airlines has launched an interline cargo agreement with Calgary- based WestJet, with Monday marking the first international shipment between the United States and Canada.

The initial phase of the agreement allows cargo customers in six U.S. cities — Denver, Dallas, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Phoenix — to transport to four Canadian cities — Calgary, Ed monton, Toronto and Vancouver.
