Two juveniles have been charged as adults in connection with a double shooting in Denver last week.
The Denver district attorney’s office announced Friday that Saul Anaya, 17, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder as well as counts of attempted murder, illegal discharge of a weapon, possession of a handgun by a juvenile and a crime of violence.
Bryan Segovia, 16, has been charged with three counts of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.
According to the DA’s office, at 3 a.m. June 22, Anaya fired at three young men with whom he had been involved in an earlier altercation. Two men were killed in the incident near 9600 E. Girard Ave.
