DENVER — Colorado will receive nearly $17 million in federal stimulus funds to repair and renovate 15 health-care centers across the state.

Colorado’s U.S. Sens. Mi chael Bennet and Mark Udall said Monday that the state will get $16.8 million from the Department of Health and Human Services. The money will help with capital projects, including expanding the use of electronic health records and buying equipment. The money is part of $851 million in grants awarded nationwide.
