DENVER—A Denver pastor is lobbying for health care reforms and asking Congress to expand access to health care.
The Rev. Bill Calhoun of Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church is starring in a new radio ad designed by a national faith-based group pushing for health care expansion.
The ads will air on Christian radio stations in Denver this week. Calhoun is also meeting Tuesday with health-care officials in the office of Democratic Gov. Bill Ritter.
The ads are running this holiday week while Congress is in recess to pressure action on health care. Pastors in four other states have also recorded ads.
