DENVER—A federal judge has approved an agreement naming a new party to oversee the abandoned 401(k) plan of the defunct Denver Window Corp.
The judge last month named the Ridgeland, Miss.-based accounting firm of Larry Lefoldt/Lefoldt & Co., P.A. to administer the plan. The U.S. Labor Department announced the decision Monday.
The Labor Department had accused company owner and plan trustee Daniel Nechrony of failing to properly distribute assets of the plan and file required Form 5500 reports after the Commerce City-based company ended operations in April 1998.
Nechrony declined to comment Monday.
As of Jan. 31, 2007, the plan had 13 participants and $35,706 in assets.
