COLORADO SPRINGS — Three closed schools will go up for sale, lease or partnership in Colorado Springs.

Irving Middle School, Ivywild Elementary School and the Bijou Alternative School were among 10 schools closed by the Colorado Springs School District No. 11 to save costs in the face of declining enrollment.

Buena Vista Elementary was given to Colorado Springs earlier this summer in a trade for community center space at West Middle School. Other vacant school buildings will be used for other school programs, or childcare centers.

Sales prices for the schools range from $450,000 to $6 million. District executive Kris Odom said request for proposals will be released the week of July 20.
