ENGLEWOOD, Colo.—The Denver Broncos have signed fourth-round draft pick Seth Olsen, an Omaha native who played college football at Iowa.
Olsen, a Millard North graduate, started 34 games on the Hawkeyes’ offensive line. The guard will back up starters Ben Hamilton and Chris Kuper in Denver.
The Broncos also signed second-round draft pick Richard Quinn and fifth-round pick Kenny McKinley.
The Broncos also waived rookie wide receiver David Grimes on Thursday.
Quinn was highly regarded for his blocking skills at North Carolina, where the tight end had 12 receptions for 124 yards and two touchdowns in 34 games.
McKinley is a wide receiver who set records with 207 receptions and 2,781 receiving yards at South Carolina. He played in 47 games and had 19 touchdowns.
