The father of a 5-year-old Northglenn boy was arrested Monday after returning the boy to his home, police said today.
The father, William Samuel Rivera, 38, is being held for investigation of second-degree kidnapping and a custody violation.
Police said the child, Josias Rivera, was abducted from his grandmother’s home in the 300 block of West 114th Avenue at about 1:30 a.m. Monday.
Rivera returned the child to the grandmother, who is the child’s legal guardian, at about 3 p.m. Monday.
